Description
The fifth Edition of our annual magazine is packed with its usual variety of information relating the lives of African people around the world.
This year’s Edition is special, because The Foundation started its Youth vocational Training Course in February 2023.
The chairperson starts by outlining MMGFS vision for the Vocational Training Programme and how MMGF plan to help the youths to gain and progress in their profession going forward.
The Students are given the opportunity to express their views on the course and their experiences on the Programme.
Dr Perry Stanislas express his views on how we can reverse the neglect that African government have shown to the development of our young people.
In her article “Garveyism and The Youth” Nataki Kambon outline some practical steps that young people can take to uplift themselves during these difficult times.
There is a Review of Dr Julius Garvey’s visit to Ghana in 2023 and we take a look at how his father is honored throughout the world
The Kambon family is prominent in Ghana, so we take a look at their Garveyite history.
We also have a main feature on Malcolm X who is MMGF’s Personality of the Year 2023.
There is also an article on how a group of Jamaican steel workers helped to shape the Industrial Revolution in The United Kingdom.
Finally we look at how ‘Turmeric’ and ‘Leaf Of Life’ can be used to keep us sound in body and mind.
