DESCRIPTION:OFFICIAL STATEMENT\n\nIt is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts t
 hat we announce the passing of Mrs. Naomi\n\nPalmer-Buchanan (Wudase Maria
 m) the Chief Executive Officer of The Marcus Mosiah Garvey Foundation\n\n(
 MMGF).\n\nMrs. Naomi passed away unexpectedly in her home\, surrounded by 
 loved ones. Her loss\n\nis profoundly felt by the MMGF team\, partners\, a
 nd the many lives she touched through\n\nher leadership\, compassion\, and
  unwavering commitment to excellence.\n\nMrs. Naomi was a visionary leader
  whose dedication and passion helped shape MMGF\n\ninto the organization i
 t is today. Beyond her professional achievements\, she will be\n\nremember
 ed for her kindness\, strength\, and genuine care for people.\n\nDuring th
 is difficult time\, we ask for privacy and continue praying for her family
 \, loved\n\nones\, and the entire MMGF community.\n\nOn Thursday 29 Januar
 y 2026 there will be a vigil and wake keeping at her residence on Jah Marc
 us Drive in Kokrobite From 6pm.\n\nOn Saturday 31 January 2026 at 9am ther
 e will be a burial ceremony at the White House  Lodge and Event centre in
   Amanokrom- Akuappem in Aburi.\n\nFor those who wish to support the fami
